Hello there! Thanks for checking out my work. I'm a self-taught graphic designer based in Rhode Island, and the one-woman show behind Modern Printed Matter. I launched my first line of greeting cards in 2005. Initially it was a creative outlet from my Environmental Engineering career, but it quickly became my obsession. Less than a year after it's launch, I quit my day job to run Modern Printed Matter full-time. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made!
Juggling motherhood and a business is chaos at times, but I try to find
humor in it all. When I'm not chasing around my two little boys, I'm jotting down card ideas, phrases that make me laugh, and taking pictures of natural surroundings that inspire me. My mission is to help keep the tradition of handwritten correspondence alive, and to spread a little laughter around with it.
